Often my classes have focused SOLELY on technique, and not on a finished tag – well that is all about to change. So get ready to not only LEARN some great techniques, but also make some fun FINISHED ARTWORK on tags so you can get a jump on your holiday card making – or simply use them on holiday layouts! As always, techniques are thoroughly spelled out for future review. This class will feature my favorite techniques using Distress Inks, Color Washes, Perfect Pearls, Distress Crackle Paint and more and will feature products from Prima, including watercolor and transparency paintables. Remember, this is a no white clothing zone!

Build A Chipboard Word Book & Bind It With The Bind-it-All
Everyone is falling in love with chipboard word albums. Now BUILD your own album! In this class we will be putting together an album with the word SUMMER. This is not a pre-cut album already put together like the other word albums on the market. This album comes in pieces and we will assemble it in class.
The class fee includes the Chipboard pieces to build your own SUMMER word album (made from the thickest chipboard on the market), 8 sheets of 12 x 12 paper which you choose from our store (MSRP $1.00 or below), use of distressing inks, Paint Dabbers, Tim Holtz Crackle Paints & Distress Embossing Powders and our new “must have” Sanding Stick, wire to bind your book and the use of our amazing Bind-it-All machine.
Techniques you will learn in class…
- Covering chipboard with paper so that it doesn’t come off
- Distressing your album and letters with different techniques of your choice (ex. Embossing, Sponging, Dabbers, Crackle Paints, etc…)
- Using our awesome Sanding Stick (once used, it will become a “must have”…it’s that good)
- How to use the Bind-it-All machine.
You can also create and order your own personalized word album at the crop weekend choosing any 3-7 letter word of your choice. For example, your child’s name, school mascot, Prom, Vacation Spot, Sport’s Team Name. The possibilities are endless and it is so much fun!! Once you join our class you will be hooked.
